Mui Choy Duck

You need to cook mui choy duck for 2 hours if you use conventional pot on stove

Ingredients (A)
1 whole duck or chicken, cut into 4 pieces
1 tbsp thick soy sauce
200g sweet mui choy

(B)
4 slices ginger
1 clove garlic

(C)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
pepper to taste
1 tbsp fish sauce
3 bowls water
Cornflour solution

Pan Mee


(A) Dough
400g plain flour
100g topioca flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg 250ml water

(B)
4 litres ikan bills broth
choy sum or sayur manis


(C)
400g minced meat
5 dried black mushrooms
soaked and shredded
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp thick soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste

(D)
1 bowl fried ikan billis
1 bowl fried shallots

(E)
Blend together
100g red chilies
10 chili padi
1/2 grilled belacan
6 small limes, squeeze juice

Beancurd Puffs with Soy Bean Sprouts


Ingredients

100g minced pork
300g soy bean sprouts
8 nos beancurd puffs (sliced)
1 red chili ( cut into rings)
100g chinese chives ( sectioned)
1 1/2 tbsp salted bean paste
1 tsp chopped garlic
some cornstarch solutions ( for thickening)
50ml water
Seasoning:
1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp light soy sauce
1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp chicken stock granule

Vegetables in Double Gluten

Today 13 May 2010, I have attempt to try out some cooking dishes, the following is the recipe.

Ingredients ( A)
- 5 pieces friend tau kan or tau pau
- 10 pieces friend gluten
- 200g chinese cabbage, cut into pieces
- 100g sweet bean
- 12 dried black mushrooms, soaked 1 carrot sliced

(B)
2 tbsps vegetarian oyster sauce
1 tsp vegetarian seasoning powder
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
pepper to taste
3 cups water

cornflour solution

Method
1. Cook mushrooms with (B) until soft. Add in all the ( A). Bring to the boil. Cook until soft.
2. Stir in cornflour solution. Remove from heat and serve hot.
